Federico Rossi graduated in Chemistry at the University of Siena in 2003. In the same place he got his PhD in 2007. After 2 years as post doctoral researcher at the University of Palermo, in 2009 he has been awarded with a 2-years IOF Marie Curie Fellowship.
His research activity is concerned with chemical oscillations and pattern formation in soft matter and dispersed media.
Federico Rossi is presently spending the first year of the Marie Curie grant at the chemistry department of Brandeis University, to collaborate with Prof. Irving Epstein and Prof. Vladimir Vanag on the topic “pattern formation induced by cross diffusion phenomena”.
